John Mulcahy
John is one of Australia's foremost businessmen. He has extensive experience in the banking, insurance and property industries. John was most recently Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Suncorp-Metway Limited. Prior to this, John held senior executive roles at the Commonwealth Bank, including Group Executive, Investment and Insurance Services. John also held senior roles with Lend Lease, including Chief Executive Officer, Lend Lease Property Investment, and Chief Executive Officer, Civil & Civic.
John is currently chairman of Coffey International, a non-executive director of Mirvac, a non-executive director of GWA Group, a Guardian of the Future Fund, and a director of the Great Barrier Reef Foundation. He holds a Doctorate in Philosophy in Civil Engineering and is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers.
John is Chairman of Pottinger's Advisory Board.
